RIP Tamiya/Con

When Tamiya sold its American HQ in Aliso Viejo, it lost the venue for Tamiya/Con and there hasn't been one since. Why? My guess is the cost to stage Tamiya/Con is too high now because they would have to rent a venue.

Too bad. Tamiya/Con was a great event.
