Hi folks. This is my first time posting to this site. Here is the initial progress on my Mustang III cockpit. Using the Eduard PE set for this one, as well as the Aeromaster decal sheet. I am doing "Hot Shot." Hope you enjoy the pics. Comments and critiques are welcome. More in-progress shots to come.
Cheers,
J.C.

Hey JC,
So far your build is coming along rather nicely!! I am really begining to like Eduards coloured PE, especially their instrument panels!!
So how do you like using Eduards PE?

I am currently building Tamiys'a F-16 blck 25 and I using some of Aires PE coloured cockpit set with some scratch stuff so we shall see..
Looking forward to seeing my update pic JC. Thanks fer sharing
Flaps up,
Mike

Hi Mike. Thanks for the compliments! As for the Eduard PE, they are definitely "fiddly" and require some patience to work with. I understand the PE folding tools make life easier, although I don't currently own one. But definitely worth the extra work, I think, in making the appearance of the model that much better!
Cheers,
J.C.

Hey JC,
I agree with you on how the PE makes the appearance of a kit stand out.. However when I use aftermarket items, 9 out of 10 times, it's resin all the way except for what I had mentioned in my previous post.
By the way, how is the build coming along?

Mike

Hi Mike. Yes, I have worked with resin as well, and you can get amazing results with this as well. I managed to close up the fuselage before my vacation ended. Now that I am back at work, my build time decreases exponentially. I will try to get some work done on it this weekend, and post some more progress.

Cheers,
J.C.
