Since it appears most of the people on this board are military modelers, I'll throw something else here in the car scale forum.
First is the Tamiya Honda Fit. It's been discontinued for a while now, but my local hobby shop happened to have one in stock. This is what my wife drives, so I figured I'd make a replica of hers for her.

It's box stock, painted with Testors "Italian Red" 2-coat lacquer.
Next up is the replica of my car... a Mazda Eunos Roadster (Miata). I pretty much disregarded most of the instructions and painted it to look like mine.

The paint is Tamiya TS-9 "British Racing Green". I painted the shocks yellow with black springs to match my Koni sports with Eibach springs... the swaybar green to match my Suspension Technologies swaybar... and used an ink "wash" and Tamiya Weathering Kit C to put in the oil and rust to make it look "authentic". I tried to fabricate a roll bar like my car has too, but it was proving to be a lot harder than I thought, so I just sort of made something up (and it came out lopsided). Real car for comparison (http://www.flickr.com/photos/chkltcow/3725303664/)
And right now "on deck" I have a Tamiya Lotus Seven series II, Tamiya Porsche 956 with PE parts, a Tamiya Carrera GT, and a Revell McLaren MP4/20. Working with the McLaren makes me REALLY appreciate how much easier Tamiya models are to work with. It has gone back in the box in favor of the Lotus, which will be followed by the 956 and Carrera. Hopefully I can get pictures of those up in the next week or so.
