Alright, now that I have the official green light saying I can post these, here we go - I apologize if any of these are less than perfect quality, ask and I can take new shots for them.
First up - the first Ship project I did, a Tamiya Gneiseau, set up with the Original plan for 38cm guns which was decreased to 28cm for Versailles. She's had the Atlantic Bow refit, and the camo is based off Scharnhorst on the Channel Dash (I wanted a challenge on the paint work):

---Post Truncated by Image Limit, will add more soon---
This is the collection so far, of all my Tamiya-base ships, I've got a whole lot more of them in my Photobucket. Yes, most of these are still in various stages of being rebuilt/modified/built.
Questions, Comments, Queries and Rude Remarks are welcome.

Alright, now that the thread's up, here come further installments of the fleet.
Second, my Tamiya Shinano - I'm going to do her as an In-Service version, with the airgroup consisting of C6N, B7A, D4Y and J7W:

^Note - that B7A was cut and folded by me for the sake of display with the elevator down. I used a three-view image to find the fold points, cut, and then glued the wings in that position. I plan on using the more detailed Pit-Road B7A's I have up on the deck with their finer details (the only shame being I can't show them with Torpedoes on, as the bay was internal)

Next, HIJMS Bufu - a modified Tamiya Shimakaze, with 10cm AA turrets, essentially a concept for a late-war multirole destroyer - the heavy Torpedo battery of a standard Heavy destroyer, with the AA guns of an escort destroyer. The name is a translation a friend helped me clean up, for "Warrior Wind" similar to the way IJN heavy Destroyers were given Meteorological names.

Next, HIJMS Koya - a Japanese version of a Panzerschiffe, inspired by Furashita's Fleet, I took the Tamiya Kumano, and fitted turrets 2 and 3 with Nagato-style 16"/45 turrets supplied from Pit-Road, as well as upgraded 155mm turrets for more detail. The Broadside 5" guns were replaced with shielded 10cm turrets from a Fujimi Super Yamato. AA platforms on 16" turrets were scratchbuilt.

Finally, the HIJMS Owari - a Japanese Fast Battleship, essentially a stolen/copied version of the Iowa, she'll resemble in general outline and hull form, but this isn't your daddy's Iowa. Built from Tamiya Missouri, with custom brass 16/50 guns, Shielded 5/50's on the broadside, and will be fitted with 25mm AA battery:

I've been rebuilding the turrets to look more Japanese, and I've also taken putty and filled in under the 5" guns so they actually have barbettes that fit the gun turrets.

Your work looks really good. I'm interested in seeing some more pics of the Shinano. I started working on it a few days ago. And I can't seem to find any good pics. Feel free to email them to me, or post them. Thanks

Bad guys had neat looking ships: kinda dumb putting 12" guns on a 35,000 battleship, but what's a guy to do if he wants hulls in the water fast. (Bet they regretted that when they ran into Duke of York.) Do wonder about the camo scheme. Never seen one with turrets painted red. Can't imagine why it wouldn't create a target if the Brits would have had dive bombers. Where'd you get that data? I'd like to build a Scharnhorst too and would love an excuse to brighten up a battleship.
Best
Eric
