can these two colors mix togather?

Hi
I would like to know if I can mix Tamiya acrylic paints with Mr.color paints,what I know about Mr.color paints that they are acrylic paints solvent based need to be thinned with Mr.color thinner ,but I don’t know Tamiya paints are they water based or solvent based like Mr.color ? & can both of them mixed together ?, had anyone try this before?, how did it goes?
I need this because of the shortage of Tamiya paints .

Don't know about Mr. Color but Tamiya acrylic thinner is basically alcohol with additives. If you smell the Mr color thinner and it smells like alcohol the you should be fine. Easiest way to see is to pour out a little Tamiya thinner and dip a toothpick(cocktail stick on the other side of the pond) with Mr Color paint on it and see if it will dissolve the paint. Then do the reverse. If both are work, you should be OK, but I wouldn't start by dumping a whole bottle of each together. Paints and their formulas react in strange ways some times. That is why most modeler feel that painting is a black art.
