For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return.

    good call!
I also wish for both the F-4E (both early and late production versions) and F-4G Wild Weasel.

    Default Phantoms

    1. F-4B with the thin wing and thin wheels. Markings in the kit to include VF-51, VF-111, and VF-151 MiG Killers from Vietnam.

    2. F-4C/D with the proper internal/external differences. Markings to include 8th TFW and 432 TRW MiG Killers and the 497th Night Owls. Include in the kit PAVE KNIFE laser designator pod, ALQ-71/101 ECM pods, and hopefully the right weapons such as AIM-7/9s, CBU-58s and GBU-10s PAVEWAY I laser guided bombs.

    3. F-4E... both early hard wing and late slatted wings. I would buy three F-4E late model jets if the kit has DMAS cockpits, ARN-101 antennas, TISEO camera, PAVE TACK laser designator pod, and ALQ-131/184 ECM pods. Weapons include GBU-10/12, GBU-15, AGM-65 Maverick, and Mk82 500 pound bombs.

    4. F-4J with hard and slatted wings. Markings for Vietnam MiG Killers such as VF-96, VF-92, and VF-31.

    5. F-4G Advanced Wild Weasel in the 35th TFW and 52nd TFW markings from Desert Storm.

    Just my two cents...

As I suggested in the F-16B/D petition, a 48th scale F-4 sires only makes sense, as these are the two most popular modern aviation subjects abroad! All Tamiya has to do is make a few corrections and they'd be set. if only....
