I think this will complete the circle. ALOT of modelers are waiting for Tamiya to get this one out.

Amen!! or in 32nd would be nice too!!
Hello...I'm a Viper modeler in 1/48th and 1/32nd scales from the Philippines...
I think that Tamiya should produce the F-16D, specially the Israeli (Barak) or Polish or Chilean variants. Other models of F-16Dhas a long list of errors or issues in my book. Many people are clamoring for it specially at the F-16.net forum where I also belong also for the same reason I mentioned above. Tamiya F-16Cs
are the best in the market...that's why I wholeheartedly suggest to follow it up with the F-16D.

I could not have said it better!! Can you say Tamiya 1/48th F-16D.. ok the "B" variant as well..
Flaps up,
Mike
Keep up with all the great feedback!!!![]()

The F-16B can be modeled from an F-16D-25/32 (PW Engined) by merely changing the tail base and the cockpits's instrument panels. But it's a good idea too.
Please include the latest loadouts like the sniper targetting pod, bru-57 bomb racks, gbu-38, agm-65 on single rail launcher and others...![]()

How about a 1/48 and 1/32 F-16 C/D/N with all the parts for single and 2 seat variants in one box (be sure to throw in the stand from the T-Birds kit). From a parts perspective, you're almost there in the 1/48 kit.
I like the F16 series of aircraft, so how about adding conformal fuel tanks into the mix if some IAF versions are on the drawing board.

The CFT are large parts that require addtional sprue/s, plus there are many more parts into it. It can get the kit expensive. The Barak and Sufa may probably issued as a separate kit, if Tamiya decides to make our wishes come true.
The question is are there IAF Vipers on the drawing board. The main problem is that Tamiya has not yet released an Israeli aircraft. They could have readily released an F-16C-40 Barak by merely adding a sprue loaded with Israeli Barak modifications and Python AAMs, plus IAF decals to the F-16CJ (61098). I wonder why couldn't make this happen to the finest 1/48 and 1/32 Viper in the market? We could only wish both the Barak and the Sufa, w/c are for me the most colorful combat vipers, will be released.
