    Thank you for sharing!

    The F-14 Tomcat looks great!
For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return.

    Well 007,

Yet another big bird rolls off your production line and looks superb. However if I might make a small observation, much too clean.

If you look at some of the great pictures that are available, when on sea duty they start to look like they have a patchwork quilt of paint touch-ups and dirt from the groundcrew that climb all over them and of course from the flights themselves and life at sea in the wind and rain.

many years ago an issue of Tamiya Modelling Magazine had a fabulous article on weathering a big cat, that had seen lots of living in the alleyways of Naval Aviation.

So what next delights are you to get on your bench to share. Sadly I am still in a bit of a downtime, hoping that modelling will soon return to my life.

    Hiya 007,

If you look on your profile and the messages there, I have found a scan of the Dirty Tomcat article from TMMI Feb/Mar 1992 and would love to let you have a copy direct in PDF format, so to let you contact me.

Dioramas are fun to work with, lots to learn......................
